Kotilingeshwara Temple: A Spiritual Journey Near Bangalore

Kotilingeshwara Temple, situated about 98 km from Bangalore (Majestic), is a must-visit destination for devotees and travelers alike. The journey begins on NH 4 towards Kolar, covering 55 km, after which you'll take a right turn. Follow the bypass road in Kolar, and just before the end of a railway track bridge, turn left to proceed on the KGF route. About 4 km before KGF, at a forked road with a large banyan tree, take the left path. The temple is located just 6 km from Kolar Gold Fields (KGF).

The temple is famous for its massive Shiva Lingas, a sight that inspires awe and devotion. An entrance ticket costs ₹10, while a camera ticket is ₹100 (mobile photography is allowed).
